Dana (Zier) Weber grew up on a ranch in Wyoming and Montana, about 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park. She was an exchange student to Germany, studying art in Koln, West Germany and has lived several places - from Colorado to England to Montana to Indiana. She is now living in Indiana, a self-employed painter.
Dana has a BA from Montana State University – Billings and an MA from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. Her first oil painting class was when she was in 7th grade at Powell Community College, Powell, WY. She has taught various art classes at Montana State University, Purdue University – West Lafayette, and Valparaiso University, and in various public schools - grade school through high school, public art programs, and advanced Alzheimer sufferers at a life care center.
